About

North County San Diego, Blogger and Whisky Enthusiast – Seeks to repay the online community for helping to make the journey into discovering peated whisky as smooth and wonderful as it has been. This blog is for those who are looking for insightful reviews and thoughts and are doing their due diligence before spending their hard earned dollars. I plan on doing reviews of whisky that is commonly available. We are not chasing whales here. Though if some whisky of that caliber and I were to cross paths, a review would certainly be in order. Seeking all possible drams while looking for those that excite my senses and leave me thinking of them for a long time afterwords.

  2. Hi Keith,
Sorry it has taken me so long to reply. I really appreciate you taking the time to comment.

All of the whiskies that you listed are on my radar. I have an unopened bottle of the Laphroaig 18 and now that I have just completed a review of the 10 CS I realize how crazy it is that I have yet to go the Quarter Cask route. Seems to be a lot of peoples favorite one. The rest of their fine range can’t be far behind.

On the rye front I had a bottle of Rendezvous Rye before I really felt ready to write rye reviews and loved it. I do plan on visiting that one again soon.

I have recently been updating the wish list and hope to keep it as current as possible.

    Thanks.
